Ann asked about images of God which including a shepherd and gathering the children, sheltering and caring. Ann explained her work which was started by a Korean woman, Helen Kim. She wanted to have a sisterhood of women. Six years later a meeting was held and 20 years later a charter was drawn up to form organisation. The motto was “to know Christ and make him known” In 2014 the 75th anniversary took place. Ann showed us the perpetual banner which she gets to carry around the world. Black t-shirt shows solidarity to protest of victims of violence. Between the 5 years local seminars are held. (West Africa, South Asia, America, South America, East Asia and Combined Europe) They formed action plans to eradicate poverty and hunger, universal primary education, promoting gender equality, reducing child mortality, aids projects, environmental sustainability, things to improve the lives of women and the communities around the world and global partnerships. The mission liaison group we support is an example of this. We enjoyed the examples Ann gave us as we followed her journey.
